Zillertal is a 40 km long valley named after the river Ziller. The valley is located about 1 hour by car from the Tyrolean capital, Innsbruck. It is surrounded by heavily glaciated alpine massifs: the Zillertaler Alepen, the Tuxer Alpen, and the K\u00fctzb\u00fchler Alpen.\u00a0<\/p>

Thanks to its location and beautiful unspoilt nature, the Zillertal has become one of the most visited valleys in Tyrol, offering an endless variety of activities. Its great advantage is not only the possibility of year-round skiing but also the ever-expanding summer tourism. Zillertal is very alive in the summer. One of the traditions of the locals is to hold a so-called \"Fest\". It is a time of bringing the cows back home from the mountain plains and it must be celebrated! Imagine: Live music and food stalls with local produce and delicacies at every corner.
