You will find several marked cycling trails that lead through the valley, through picturesque villages, over the hills to the very tops of the mountains. There are also specially marked "single trails".
For more demanding cyclists, there are challenges such as the Zillertal High Alpine Road butif you prefer more relaxing bike tours, you can take a ride through the valley along the Ziller River and enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
Zillertal Arena i Mayrhofner Bergbahnen now make it easier for cyclists to reach the peaks without the initial difficult climb up. In fact, they allow athletes to take their bikes with them using the cable car. Even less fit cyclists can now enjoy the beautiful mountain trails!
